Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor Is a polarized electrolytic capacitor whose anode (+) consists of an etched aluminum foil with an anodized Al₂O₃ layer as the dielectric. The cathode (-) is formed by a conductive electrolyte (liquid/solid) in contact with a cathode foil.
