What material are car air filters made of?     There are two types of air filter material, dry and wet. The shape of the dry filter is oblate or oval and flat. The filter material is filter paper or non woven fabric, the end of the filter element is covered with metal or polyurethane, and the shell material is metal or plastic. Wet filters include two types: oil - immersed and oil - bath. The filter element is made of wire fabric or foam.     Air filter media are mainly used in pneumatic machinery, internal combustion machinery and other fields.
