This machine is our permanent magnet variable frequency air compressor, which uses a three-phase rare earth permanent magnet synchronous motor, abbreviated as PMSM. The three-phase rare earth permanent magnet synchronous motor belongs to asynchronous starting synchronous operation, and the rotor is rare earth treated, so there is no slip S, no electrical excitation, and no fundamental iron or copper losses in the rotor, i.e. PFE2=0, PCU2=0. The rotor is excited by a permanent magnet bowl, without the need for reactive excitation current. The power factor is improved, the reactive current is reduced, the stator current is significantly reduced, the stator copper consumption is greatly reduced, and the power is significantly increased. From this, it can be seen that rare earth permanent magnet motors are truly energy-saving, distinguishing them from power frequency models.
