Horizontal Steel Strip Accumulator for ERW Tube Mills

A horizontal steel strip accumulator holds a reserve of strip at the entry to an ERW tube mill. While the entry section stops to join the end of one coil to the next, the downstream mill draws strip from this reserve. Continued operation depends on sufficient usable storage for the actual joining cycle.
