The Miniature Isolating Switch Series is a type of manual electrical switching device applied in power distribution systems, whose primary function is to cut off the power supply during circuit inspection, maintenance or repair, forming a visible and distinct break point to ensure the personal safety of maintenance personnel. It generally does not have overload and short-circuit protection capabilities, and cannot be used to interrupt normal operating current, being only suitable for circuit breaking operations under no-load or light-load conditions.
