Electromagnetic Flowmeter Introduction The CEPAI Intelligent Electromagnetic Flowmeter, composed of a flow sensor and an intelligent converter, adopts Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction to continuously measure the instantaneous and totalized volumetric flow of conductive liquids and slurries in industrial pipelines, where the sensor generates flow signals and the converter provides excitation current, processes induced voltage signals, displays operating data, and outputs standard 4-20 mA analog, pulse and digital communication signals. It supports bidirectional forward and reverse flow measurement, features multiple accuracy classes, a wide nominal diameter range, and optional electrode and lining materials adaptable to corrosive, abrasive, high and low-temperature media, and is compatible with 220 VAC or 24 VDC power supply.
