Our Polyester Multifilament Filter Cloth Product Details   Our filter cloth is made from polyester multifilament yarns. Multifilament means each yarn contains many fine fibers twisted together. We source quality polyester material for all our yarns. Polyester is a common synthetic fiber that works well in industrial settings. Our looms weave the yarns into cloth using plain or twill patterns. Plain weave gives a tighter structure for finer filtration. Twill weave gives a smoother surface and better liquid flow. We do not coat or treat the cloth unless a customer asks us to. The base fabric itself does the filtering work. Multifilament yarns differ from monofilament. Monofilament uses one thick strand.
